With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nova Gayle Pannell of Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Nova Gayle departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Nova Gayle. Though Nova Gayle may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her husband Steven T. Pannell; her parents, Estill Lindsey and Grace Hill Lindsey; and her siblings, Paul, Jon Gary Lindsey and Jane Dale Lindsey.

She is survived by: her children, Loren Neilsen (Sarah) and Wendy Pannell.

In lieu of flowers Gayle requested donations be made to St. Stephen Methodist Church 3981 Macon Road, Memphis, TN, 38122.
