She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Lee Bright and Cecil Sanders Bright; her husbands, Paul Loyd Weldon, John James Salopek, III and Steven Dale Beaty; her brother Larry Bultman Bright; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Ann Bright and Teri Shiver Bright; her nieces, Melinda Lynn Gilbert, Natalie Elaine Duke and Kara Bright Conner; and her pets, Dixie Weldon, Rocky Salopek, Maggie Salopek and Winston Beaty.
She is survived by: her son Corey McCain Weldon of Lafayette, GA; her granddaughter Ivey Mariposa Weldon of Chattanooga, TN; her stepchildren, John James Salopek, IV (Colleen), Fredric, Elizabeth Salopek Bauer of Saratoga Springs, UT, Camille Salopek Klein (Michael) of Georgetown, KY and Vienna Klein; her siblings, Cynthia Bright Salem (Adrian Salem) of Memphis, TN, Danny Sims Bright (Edith) of Gautier, MS, Rodney Woodard (Melissa Gilbert Greenwald), Michael Sanders Bright of Drummonds, TN, Bobbie Bright Smith and Michael S Bright, Jr.; her niece Andrea Bright Smith; her nephew Jeremy Daniel Bright; and her pet Bodie Beaty.
