It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Earl Harvell of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Rebecca Viola McDonald and Everett Harvell; and his siblings, Frances Miller, Ann Simmons, Everett Harvell and Thomas Harvell.

He is survived by : his wife Jean Barber Harvell; and his children, Patti Newsom Lewis (Jimmy) and Raymond Elmo Harvell. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 4 nieces, and 5 nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Phillip Episcopal Church (9380 Davies Plantation Rd, Memphis, TN 38133).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Phillip Episcopal Church, Church Health or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
