It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Earl Potts of Memphis, Tennessee, born in Water Valley, Mississippi, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Lavelle Prestage and Edward Potts; and his brother Ken Potts. He is survived by: his wife Annalisa Potts; his son Richard Evan; his daughter-in-law Laura Potts; his stepdaughters, Shannon (Loren Haynes) and Jennifer (Duke Leyman); his grandchildren, Richard Ellis, Rowan Earle Potts, Henry Haynes and Ella Cate Haynes; and his brother Tom (Kathleen Potts). He is also survived by nieces, a nephew and cousins.
