He was predeceased by : his former wife Flora Boling; his parents, John Boling and Gracie Boling; and his siblings, Jim, Herbert, Harold and Sandra Boling. He is survived by : his wife Betty Cleveland Boling; his children, Ron Boling (Ellen), Robbie Scott Boling (Tippy), Bill Smith (Liz Nelson), Vicki Boling, Darlene Kent (Adren) and Jeanette Smith (Jeff Atkins); and his siblings, Bill Boling (Mary) and Charlene Williams. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to either the Paragould Children's Home or St. Jude's Hospital.
