He is survived by: his wife Earnestine Caldwell (Robert) of Memphis, TN; his son Terrence Simmons; and his siblings, Jimmie Ruth Parker, Thomas Caldwell, Fannie Perry, Annie Cast, Lyles Caldwell Jr. and Larry Caldwell Sr.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
