He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Desjardins and Elizabeth Desjardins. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Trate (Gary) of Milton, PA and Michael Desjardins (Sarah) of Lewisburg, PA; his sisters, Cynthia Turner of Walnut, MS and Becky Buczkowski (Dean) of Memphis, TN; his nieces, Diane and Lauren; and his nephew Brian. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in his name can be made to the American Kidney Fund or St. Mary's Cathedral Memphis.
