Robert Edward Langston Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 14, 2026, at the age of 87, Robert Edward Langston of Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Byron "Rudy" Langston and Kathryn Klingholz Langston; and his son-in-law Jeffrey Scrugham. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Langston; his siblings, Dudley Langston and Courtney Sexton; his children, Lauren Scrugham of Memphis and Edward Langston (Liz) of Memphis; his grandchildren, Edward and Lyda Scrugham; and his sons, Will, John and Rob Langston.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Church Health Center.
