He is survived by: his father Robert "Bobby" Nix (Cheryl); his husband Chris Short; his mother Gretel Craig (David); his siblings, Cheslie Jo Crowley (Stacy), Lacey Raye Barnhill (Jeremy), Heather Pegram (Shane), BJ Lampley (Jessi) and David D. Craig (Janet); his siblings' children, Brinson Ibendhl, Remington Barnhill, Fox Barnhill, Cannon Barnhill, Isaac Lampley, Judah Lampley, Reese Lampley, Drew Lampley and Ellie Lampley; his aunts, Deirdre Allbritten (Odell) and Leah Laird (Donnie); and his uncle Jimmy Nix (Barb). He is also survived by several cousins, friends, and co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scholarship of University of Memphis in memory of Nathan Nix or to Kids in Distress in Fort Lauderdale and will be received at the funeral home.
