He is survived by: his son Ronald Aaron Newsom (Lauren) of Arlington, TN; his grandchildren, Aaron Newsom of Memphis, TN, Luke Newsom of Eads, TN and Payton Newsom of Eads, TN.; and his sisters, Jean Hardin, Carolyn Wharton and Marilyn Hill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
