He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Housman and Alice Toye Housman; and his siblings, William "Sonny" Housman, Gerald Wayne Housman, Vester "Gene" Housman, Mable "Midge" Russell, Janice Swindle, Doris Ann "Chicken" Beaty and Jo Carolyn Chrisco.
He is survived by: his former wife Gwen Watkins (Bill); his sons, Ronnie Housman (Nicki) and Randy J. Housman (Rachael); and his grandchildren, Abigail Odom, Rebekah Housman, Ryan Housman and Brianna Marshal. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
