He is survived by: his brother Bailey Patterson of Jackson, TN.; his wife Kathleen Zanone Patterson; his children, Roy John Patterson, III (Robin), Paige Patterson Williams (Shad) and Aggie Patterson Gordin (Josh); his grandchildren, Ramsay Jamison (George), Sarah Patterson, Emily Patterson, Addison Williams, Brennan Williams, Caroline Patterson, Braden Gordin and Carter Gordin; and his great grandchild Poppy Paige Jamison.
