She was predeceased by: her parents, Susie Chapman Frierson and Curry Frierson; her spouse Hollis Oseman; and her siblings, Jack Frierson and Martha Frierson Adkins.

She is survived by: her sons, Steve Oseman (Rhonda) of Memphis and Gary Oseman (Linda) of Nashville; and her grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Christina, Amy, Andrew Clabe and Laura Anne. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Ruth may be offered to the Raleigh United Methodist Church, 3295 Powers Road, Memphis, TN 38128.
