He was predeceased by: his parents, William Posey, Sr. and Lucille Posey; and his brother William Posey, Jr. (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his sons, Sam Posey, Jr. (Lisa) and Philip Posey, Sr. (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Lou Posey (Becca), Paul Posey (Madison), Philip Posey Jr., Katie Posey, Max Posey and Wyatt Posey; his great grandchildren, Thomas and Gabe Posey; and his brother Henry Posey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
