With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Moody of Memphis, Tennessee, born in Dyer, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2024 at the age of 87. As Shirley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Baalam Harrison and Lydia Marie Griffin Harber; her former husband Billy Reece Bradbury; her son Kenneth Bradbury; and her siblings, Virginia Baldoff, Harrison Harber, Jack Harber and Billy Haber.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia'Patti'Harris (Mark) of Middleton, TN and Janet Griesser (Jim) of Gallatin, TN; and her sister Michelle Pentecost of Arlington, TN.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
