He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Friedman and Bertie Friedman; and his son Steve Friedman. He is survived by: his wife Ann Friedman; his children, Sid Friedman and Ellen Kaplan (Brad); his daughter-in-law Betsy Friedman; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Audrey Friedman, Maya and Cole Kaplan.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Levy-Cooper Chapel at the Temple Israel Cemetery (1708 Hernando Rd, Memphis, TN 38106). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at the same location.
