We bid farewell to Stanley Burton of Memphis, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 9, 2026 at the age of 85. Stanley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Stanley may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stanley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Paul Burton and Elaine Riggs Burton; his brothers, James "Jim" David Burton and Richard Louis Burton; and his son Stanley "Bruce" Burton, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Betty Dianne Burton; his brother Steven Michael Burton (Teresa); his daughter Dr. Caroline Burton of Rochester, Minnesota; his granddaughter Grace of Cabot, Arkansas; and his pets, Colby and Buster. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
