He was predeceased by: his father Richard Dunbar Jr.; and his siblings, Josephine Cole, Mary Dunbar, Shirley Covington and Frederick Dunbar.
He is survived by: his mother Estella Dunbar; his children, Shanika Dunbar, Stacy Dunbar and Steven Wilson; his wife Annette Dunbar; his son Sharay Dunbar; his siblings, Charles Dunbar (Dorothy), Richard Dunbar III (Georgia), Tommy Young, Gene Dunbar and Beatrice Richardson (Curley); his aunt Johnnie Mae Lee; and his cousin Anthony Lee. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
