He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Margaret Brookshaw and Stephen Brookshaw, Jr.; his siblings, William Brookshaw IV (Bonnie), Mary Virginia Brookshaw, Thelma F. Brookshaw, Judy M. Dear and Carolyn O. Moore; and his grandsons, Stephen, Jeremiah and Alexander Brookshaw.
