With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Suellen Kaye Hardebeck of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on February 23, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine E. Preston Hardebeck and Herman John Hardebeck; and her sister Victoria "Vickie" Lynn Hardebeck DeFoer. She is survived by: her siblings, Cynthia Jo Hardebeck Soard of Memphis, TN and H. John Hardebeck, Jr. (Tammy) of Havelock, NC; her nieces and nephews, Josette Lorrai Nase (Andrew), Nicole Alane Harmon (Chad), Mary Amanda Jones, David Alan Soard, Jr. (Margaret) and Herman John Hardebeck, III (Lindsay); her uncle Raymond Hardebeck (Hilda); and her brother-in-law Kevin DeFoer. She is also survived by nine great nieces and nephews: one great-great niece.

In lieu of flowers, and out of respect for Sue's severe allergic reactions, the family requests that donations be made to the donor's charity of choice.
