It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Denise Eckles (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sina Mae Wooten and Henry Wooten; her husband W. C. Eckles; her sister Monica Wooten; and her aunts, Rena McKinnis, Dorothy Wooten, Voina Wooten and Beatrice Wooten.

She is survived by : her aunts and uncles, Steve Barnes (Doris), Albert Carbin of Califonia, Aaron Carbin of Chicago, Randy Wooten of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Yvette Allen (George), Angel Bills (James), Tammy Watkins (James), Kimberly Barnes and Loistine Wooten; and her great-aunt Flora Lee Tanner of Shelby, Mississippi..

Viewing was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Holy Temple Ministries (1228 E Dempster Ave, Memphis, TN 38106). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Park Cemetery, Inc. (4536 Horn Lake Rd, Memphis, TN 38109).
