She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Stewart and Mildred Stewart; and her sister Denise Saunders. She is survived by: her husband Dr. James H. Beaty; her children, Eric Christopher Beaty (Amy) and Meredith Beaty Roper (Michael); her siblings, Sherry Wheat (Wendell), Linda Case and Gene Bruce Stewart (Mary); her sister-in-law Kathy Beaty Cole; and her grandchildren, Madelyn Adair Beaty, James Stewart Beaty, Anne Odette Roper and Harold Beaty Roper "Hap". She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St Jude Children's Hospital and Christ Church.
