Garrott, IV (Liz) and Allison Hughes Garrott Braswell (Bo); and his grandchildren, Allison Badger Morrison, Annie Ruth Morrison Vaughan (Blake), Joseph McCaughan Morrison, Jr. (Caitlin), Thomas M. Garrott V, Jane Brandon Morrison, Rebecca Grace Garrott, Thomas McMurray Morrison, Clarence Carter Braswell, Garrott Hughes Braswell and Jane Clare Braswell.

“I only met Thomas Garrott once. I had been in Tanzania and met a man named AB. He walked with a limp but we got him to guide us on a walk at the base of Kilimanjaro the day before we began our trek to the top. As he is leading AB asked if anybody was from Memphis. I was and thought it an odd question. Turns out Thomas Garrott had been their the year before and had made AB administrator of some funds for school kids. When I came off Kilimanjaro, AB met me with coffee for Garrott. RIP”
