With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Jones of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on March 30, 2024 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Velma Jones to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by : her daughter Tiffany Renee Jones; and her grandchildren, Tehquin, Trevor Jr. and Jordyn Forbes. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church (4245 Singleton Pkwy, Memphis, TN 38128). A burial was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at the Memphis Memory Gardens (6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134).
