She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter James Fields and Rosa Graham Fields (Rosie); and her brother Robert Lee Fields. She is survived by: her sisters, Vernaria Fields of Fredericksburg, VA., Patricia Fields of Memphis, TN., Juanita Fields Middleton and Esquire (Stewart) of Charleston, SC.; her brother-in-law Dr. Stewart Middleton (Juanita) of Charleston, SC.; her siblings' children, Dr. Stewart D Middleton II of High Point, NC. and Michelle Fields Johnson (Frederick); her nephew-in-law Dr. Frederick Johnson (Michelle) of Fredericksburg, VA; her great-nephew Frederick Johnson Jr.; and her great-niece Faith Michelle Johnson of Fredericksburg, VA.. She is also survived by loving cousins, relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Golden Leaf Baptist Church (1439 N Hollywood St, Memphis, TN 38108).
