Virginia Herrin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2025, at the age of 91, Virginia Herrin of Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Virginia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Virginia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Foster Mitchell, Sr. and Albertha Bloesch Mitchell; her husband Robert P. Herrin; and her siblings, Betty Hill, Martha Hobby, John Mitchell, Jr. and James Mitchell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (5783 US 49, West Helena, AR 72390).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Germantown Presbyterian Church, Capital Funds, 2363 Germantown Rd., Germantown TN 38138.
