She was predeceased by: her husband James Hudson; her parent Charlotte Thomas; and her siblings, Mattie B. Lloyd, Delois Ann Lee, Eddie Mae Young and William R. Owens.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Danley (Ashley David) and Nicole Hudson; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Carmen Danley; her sister Lillian Handcock; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Sanders and Thomas Hudson (Julia). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was passionate about equality and preserving our democracy; donating money to political organizations/causes as well as to charities.
