She is survived by: her husband Jim Abernathy; her brother William McDonald (Jim); her children, Susan Mekeel (David), Carol Buckley (Sean) and Brad (Christen); and her grandchildren, Riley Kate, Sam, Hayden Abernathy, Willa, Waylon Buckley and Mary Margaret Mekeel.
