Vivian Bertasi Bursi Obituary

We announce the death of Vivian Bertasi Bursi (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 96. Vivian will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bertasi of Verona and Mamie Robilio Bertasi of Memphis; her husband Gene Bursi; and her siblings, Rosemary Slattery and Johnny (S. Marine).

She is survived by: her children, Lou (Claire), Donny (Anita), Ricky (Felicia) and Laurie (Gary Glass); her grandchildren, Chris (Katie), Catherine (Amy), Andy, Nick (Megan), Kristin, Natalie (Clay), Ellen (Ben), Peter, Amy and Anna (Stephen); and her great grandchildren, Rowan, Vivi, Francesca, Sophia, Stella, Louis, Rose, Vera and Trinity. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or to the Holy Rosary School "Building Our Future" Capital Campaign.
