It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter John Blanchard of Memphis, Tennessee, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his brothers, Zach and Jimmy Blanchard; and his son Paul Blanchard. He is survived by : his children, Mary Sonnier, Jean Stickney, Cathy Villavaso, Ann Dunbar, Jack Blanchard Jr., Danny Blanchard, Paige Blanchard and Courtney Blanchard. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Church of Incarnation Collierville (360 Bray Station Rd, Collierville, TN 38017). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
