He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Kate Briley Hendon of Memphis, Tennessee; his children, Steve Hendon of Savannah, Tennessee, Phillip Hendon of Savannah, Tennessee, Connie LaKatos (Rocky) of Morris Chapel and Teresa Ferraris (Mike Willoughby) of Memphis, Tennessee; and his siblings, Drexel Hendon (Betty) of Memphis, Tennessee and Faye Kirkman of Crump, Tennessee.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
