He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl McWaters and William McWaters; and his wife Bebe. He is survived by: his children, Lee, Bill III (Penne) and Nancy (Tim); his grandchildren, Will Cowan, Drew Cowan (Briana), Hunter Cowan (Miller), Alex McWaters (Sydney), Thomas McWaters, Smith McWaters, Boo McWaters and Billy McWaters; his great grandchildren, Caroline Cowan, Chase Cowan, McNeilly Cowan and William A. McWaters V.; and his sisters, Jean Stuart (Whit) and Joan Easterling. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
