He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Elder and Frances Elder; his former wife Ann Elder; and his grandson Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Susie Elder; his brother Robert L. Elder; his children, John Dwyer (Jeanna), Andrew Elder (Rachel) and Lisa Hanning (John); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Alec, Jack, Grant, Anwen, Madoc and Bevan; and his great grandchildren, Reese, Leighton and Presley.
