He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardith Estell Koonce Pearson and Omer David Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Rose Batey; his sons, James "Jamie" David Pearson (Milleigh) of Memphis and Jeffrey "Jeff" Todd Pearson (Mindy) of Springdale, AR.; his grandchildren, Will Pearson (Amanda) of Ames, IA, Ben Pearson (Stephanie) of Lenexa, KS, Hannah Poole (Zac) of Overland Park, KS and David Pearson (Rachel) of Rogers, AR.; his great grandchildren, Liam, Halle, Brady Pearson, Charlie, Finn, Lucy Poole and Ollie Pearson; and his sister Betty McMullin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
