With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Winifred Joan Hargett (Memphis, Tennessee), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Winifred left this world on September 12, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles Schadrack and Irene Arnoult Schadrack; her husband George W. Hargett; her brothers, William C. Schadrack, Jr. (Marianne) and Christian P. Schadrack (JoAnn); and her granddaughter Kristin Elizabeth Hargett.

She is survived by: her sons, Steve Hargett (Becky), Chris Hargett (Karin) and Jack Hargett (Darcy); and her grandchildren, Maggie Riley (Dan), Robbie Hargett, Thomas Hargett, Bo Hargett (Anna Caroline), Katie Hutson (Luke) and Tae Hargett. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (4851 Park Ave, Memphis, TN 38117). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
