She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Edward Richards and Josephine Hernden Wheeler Richards; her husband James "Jim" O. Smith; and her siblings, Edwin Richards and Jennifer Richards.
She is survived by: her caregiver Timothy Danovski of Fulton; her siblings, Jack "Doug" Richards of Mantachie and Ann Smith of Mooreville; her grandchildren, T. J. Danovski, Jr. and Shae Danovski; her great grandchildren, Noel and Kacey Danovski; and her brother-in-law Terry Danovski of Fulton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home (3535 MS-371, Mantachie, MS 38855). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
