He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Outland and Hazel Mary Chiles Outland; and his sister Margaret Welch. He is survived by: his wife Sherry McKee Outland; and his siblings, Nancy Sudbery (James) and James "Jim" Outland (Stefani).
