It is with sadness that the passing of Emily Vincent Mills of Middleton, Tennessee is shared. Emily, born on October 19, 1936, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Thomas Vincent and Alma Pirtle Vincent; her husband Marvin Mills; and her siblings, Emmett Thomas Vincent, Wayne Tate Vincent, Alma Jen-O Vincent Newman and Annie Opal Vincent Young.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Marvin Mills (Debbie), Kelvin Scott Mills (Catherine) and Letitia Carol Young (Scott); her grandchildren, Keith Allen Mills (Aundrea), Erica Leigh Mills Eschbach (Andy), Aubrey Raymond Mills (Chelsea), Sarah Catherine Mills Muller (Zachary) and Austin Scott Mills (Kayelyn); and her sisters, Helen May Vincent Tolbert, Edith Inez Vincent Pipkin, Nancy Kathrine Vincent Perryman and Cosby Sue Vincent Shelly (Bobby). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Middleton (201 S Main St, Middleton, TN 38052). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to First Baptist Church of Bolivar, TN.
