He is survived by: his wife Beth Sykes of Newnan, GA; his children, Bridget Cutchen (Chuck) of Moreland, GA, Leigh Calmes (Todd) of Independence, LA and Andy Sykes (Sarah) of Senoia, GA; his grandchildren, Marissa Sykes, Owen Sykes, Cyrus Calmes, Tyce Calmes, Lucas High, Kaelyn High and Lindsey Stewart; his great grandchild Connor Stewart; and his brothers, Gerald Sykes of Bolivar, TN and Bob Sykes of Athens, TN..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hebron Baptist Church (2580 Hebron Rd, Middleton, TN 38052).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hebron Baptist Church (Stained Glass Window Fund) and/or Hebron Cemetery or St Jude Children's Hospital.
