He was predeceased by: his parents, John Olion Neely and Sarah Hazlegrove Neely; his son John William "Bill" Neely, Jr.; and his sister Joan Neely Britnell (Frank Britnell). He is survived by: his daughters, Janie Neely Paschall (Roger) of Cedar Park and Jennifer Neely Martin (Nick) of Brentwood, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Patricia Neely Sullivan, Justin, Patrick, Katie Paschall, Trey and Blake Neely; and his great grandchildren, Lila Sullivan and Parker Hatch.
