She was predeceased by: her husband James Compton; her parents, Basil Eugene and Grace Helen Burgin; and her grandson Josh Greene. She is survived by: her sons, Zachary Greene (Amanda) of Vanore, Loren Greene (Angie) of Rogersville, Eric Greene of Midway, Michael Greene of Mosheim and Dale Greene (Sue) of Midway; her grandchildren, Joey Greene, Amber Greene of Regina Jones, R. J, Alex Greene, Nathan Greene, Dale Greene, Jr., Brandon Greene, Alysha Eidson, Jessie Eidson and Jada Eidson; her great grandchild Storm Burton; and her sisters, Jackie Everhart, Patsy Poe and Carine Harville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
