He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Evans and Velna Evans; and his sister Iretis Evans. He is survived by: his wife Della Evans; his sons, Travis Evans (Daphne) of Knoxville and Jason Evans (Elizabeth) of Lenoir City, Tennessee; his stepson Reginald Sutherland (Kimberly) of Pineville; his grandchildren, Paige, August, Isaac and Abigail; and his nephew Charles "Sonny" Hickman (Ann Russell). He is also survived by extended family members, friends.
