With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Mason Jr. (Milan, Tennessee), who passed away on January 7, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Charlie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Charlie farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Mason, Sr. and Mary Lee Davis-Mason; his siblings, Fannie Belle Mason-Broughm, George Albert Mason and Jeffrey Peter Mason; and his siblings' children, Diane Broughm-Hess and Kurcus Charles Broughm.
He is survived by: his great-nephews, Keavin Hess of San Diago, CA and Tommy Hess, Jr.; his great-niece Charlene Broughm of Lauderhill, FL; and his close friend Vern Ester Johnson. He is also survived by several great-great nieces and nephews, a host of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul MB Church (4001 Cates St, Milan, TN 38358). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
