We are sad to announce that, on February 20, 2026, at the age of 73, Doris Marie Hanks (Milan, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Finis Scott and Gladys Hastings Scott; her grandson John Robert Cavaness; and her siblings, Edward, Farris, Dale, Ray Scott and Jean White.
She is survived by: her husband Bro Billy Hanks; her children, Billy Austin Hanks (Terri) of Atwood and Penny Hanks Goodwin (Greg) of Atwood; her grandsons, Jacob Cavaness and Hudson Hanks; and her great grandchild Adeline Cavaness. She is also survived by her family, including several nieces and nephews.
