We announce the death of Etty Esther Geyra of Milan, Tennessee, who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 68. Etty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Etty will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Etty will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Etty’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Bruker and Klara Moshe Bruker; and her sister Shoshi Rose Cohen. She is survived by: her husband David Geyra of Milan; her children, Sivan Geyra (Nicole Harrison) of Baltimore, Maryland and Lee Fumia (Anthony) of Milan; her brother-in-law David Cohen; and her grandchildren, John Fumia, Hazel Geyra, Klara Fumia, Eliana Fumia and Taliah Fumia.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (4106 S 1st St, Milan, TN 38358).
