He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Misty Mitchell (Lee) of Milan; his sisters, Deborah Maxwell (Barry) of Oakfield and Magie Auxier (Andy) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Amethyst Beebe of Milan and Gabriel Mitchell of Milan; his wife Carolyn Jean Gurley; his son Joshua "Bug" Gurley; his brother Danny Gurley; and his parents, William Ray Gurley and Bonnie Fay Walters Harrington.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bodkin Funeral Home (2000 S 1st St, Milan, TN 38358). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 at the Bruff Cemetery.
