She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Bailey Harwood and Guy Mack Harwood; and her brother Guy Mack Harwood, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Cherie Dentiste (Chris) of Wilmington, NC; her grandson Vasilios Dentiste (Taylor) of Watertown, MA; her children, Louis Alexander Dentiste (Tsengel) of Nantucket, MA, Isaac and Dagina Marilyn Cook of Wake Forest, NC; and her sister Bailey Cooper of Milan, TN. She is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause Marilyn supported for many years.
