She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bomar and Johnnie Bomar; her husband Sam Brinson Kirkland; her siblings, Thelma Brumley, Cammie Sue Hammett, Faye Gay, Patricia Diane Willers, Walter Bomar, James Bomar, Johnnie Bomar, Billy Bomar and Kenneth Bomar; and her granddaughters, Sadie Mosley and Sarah Mosley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda K. Hill, Deborah K. McCrory (James) and Cathy K. Garner (Jeff); her grandchildren, Beth Lockhart (Glen Robert), Matthew McCrory (Elizabeth), Mark McCrory (Ashley), Whitney Dethloff (Jeremy) and Bradley Garner; her sister-in-law Mary Joy Bomar; and her great grandchildren, Brenna Grace Lockhart, Emma Leigh Lockhart, Lane McCrory, Tripp McCrory, Nora McCrory, Joyner Dethloff, Charlee Elyse Dethloff, Finley Kay Dethloff and Mary Anne McCrory.
