She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar McLain and Geneva McLain; her husband Bobby Shepherd; her children, Debra Shepherd, Donna Fish and Ricky Shepherd; and her siblings, Alma Bevell and Charles McLain.
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Helms and Bobby W. Shepherd; and her sister Mary Dawson. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home (6755 US-51, Millington, TN 38053). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
