Audrey Lee Magness Turner Obituary

Audrey Lee Magness Turner, age 99, of Millington, Tennessee, died Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Dee's Place Hospice Home. She was born April 28, 1923, in Rosie, Arkansas, to Walter Lee and Louisa Bell Martin Magness.

Interior decorator by trade and prolific artist, poet, and gardener by nature, Audrey lived a life of creativity and inspired others to do the same.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Perry Leslie Turner; a son, Rickey Lynn Turner; two brothers, Orbren and Keith Magness; and a sister, Barbara Pollard.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald S. and Paula Turner of Millington, Tennessee; a sister, Clara June Moore of North Little Rock; a granddaughter, Katherine (Jeremy) Barlow of Russellville; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Maple Springs Cemetery, with Bro. Eddie Rogers officiating, and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of Crossroads Hospice of Memphis, and of Dee's Place, for the wonderful care they received.
